There are nine communities open in Germany including two impressive conversions of existing, listed buildings.

Sunrise of Bonn opened in January 2006 and involved the restoration and extension of a stunning villa close to the banks of the Rhein.

Sunrise of Hannover was once the headquarters of the Deutsche Post and, after standing empty for a number of years and almost 100 years after it was originally built, the landmark building was fully restored and opened in March 2007.
